Goa is one of the best tourist destinations in India and the place is famous for its beaches ranging from popular stretches at Baga and Palolem to those in laid-back fishing villages such as Agonda. It is an ideal place for those who want to organise parties or other events, and most of the footfalls come from youth and college-goers.
Apart from stunning beaches, and fabulous sea foods, Goa is also famous for its exotic alchoholic drinks which will be available at a cheaper price. Although, the visitors wish to take home as many bottles as possible, they are allowed to take only two bottles.
Now, the Goa government has come with a new rule to attract more tourists to the region in order to increase its tourism revenue, which is currently facing a slump.
As per latest rule, tourists will be able to bag more than two bottles. Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant told that the government would soon initiate a dialogue with the excise officials from the neighbouring states to look out for mechanisms that would allow tourists to legally take home more than two bottles from their Goa vacation.
Whatsoever, this new rule will be a treat to those who are planning to take home some handful of alchohol bottles.
