Located In Srinagar, it is Asia’s biggest garden till date and is spread over 30 hectares area. The garden, which lies on the foothills of Zabarwan Range, gives a summary of the famous Dal Lake too. The garden has several parallel rows of multi-colored tulip flowers of varied species like daffodils, hyacinths and ranunculus. A walk along these beautiful fragrant flowers will make you stay there for a long time.

Shalimar Bagh

Mughal Emperor Jahangir built this garden as a symbol of love for his beloved wife Nur Jahan, and the word ‘Shalimar’ represents the same, which means ‘Abode of Love’. The garden is nestled on the banks of the Dal Lake and has lush green terraced lawns, fountains, pools, flower beds and rows upon rows of chinar trees and pavilions.

Mughal Gardens

Mughal Gardens are known for their exceptional beauty due to spectacular mountainous surroundings. The presence of different varieties of trees, fruits, flowers, colorful wild grass, and birds peeping around, make the gardens a very relaxing spot for the tourists. One of the main attractions of the gardens is the running water and a pool that would reflect the splendor of the sky and the garden.

Dal Lake

Dal Lake in Srinagar is one of the most visited tourist destinations in Kashmir valley. Its exceptional charm and exquisite surroundings will attract the tourists from all over the world. It is also the second largest lake in Jammu and Kashmir that offers a vivid and mesmerising view of the majestic mountains and exotic surroundings to the travelers.

Sonamarg

Sonamarg is home to snow-covered mountains, beautiful gardens, colorful valleys, houseboats and romantic lakes. All those people who love to try sledging can do it at the frozen glaciers. For trekking lovers, the routes to the Krishnasar Lake, Gangabal and Vishansar are the best ways to travel.
