Navdeep Saini, who made a magnificent start to his international career stunned the cricketing world with his bowling action by picking 3 wickets of Nicholas Pooran, Shimron Hetmyer and Kieron Pollard in the first T20 match. The 26-year-old became the second player to bowl the 20th over as a wicket maiden haul in the shortest format of the game. Even critics have heaped praise about Navdeep Saini bowling display and the star performer bagged the Player of the Match award in his first international game.
Speaking to senior paceman Bhuvneshwar Kumar after the match, Navdeep said, “When I received the India cap, I could not believe that today is the day which I was waiting for. I am very happy to make the debut for India.”
Krunal Pandya once again proved why he is the most consistent player in the T20 format with his magical performance and portrayed his all-rounder abilities in 20-20 series. The performance of Krunal in the first match was quite good and in the 2nd match, he justified his all-rounder position by scoring 20 runs off just 13 deliveries and also picked the main wickets of Nicholas Pooran and Rovman Powell in the same over.
The 28-year-old won the MoM award for his incredible match-winning performance in the 2nd T20 and also bagged the Player Of The Series award for his dazzling performance in the series.
The young right-arm fast bowler grabbed the opportunity with both hands by producing a magnificent spell in the 3rd T20 by picking up 3 wickets for 4 runs and clinched the Player of the Match award for his unbelievable display of seam bowling on the 22-yard strip. Deepak made his T20I debut against England on July 8 in 2018, though it was not a good start to him but shown his intensity throughout the game. In the same year, he got selected for 50 over format and made his debut against Afghanistan. Once again, the Rajasthan bowler disappointed with his below-average performance. The selectors have given one more chance to him and picked in the T20 series against West Indies, this time he grabbed the opportunity in the 3rd T20 and bowled superbly.
