It went New Zealand way, then the England way and then the New Zealand way once again, finally Eoin Morgan and his boys won the super over on a boundary count! Morgan & Gang win the match over Williamson & Gang at the Lord's Cricket Stadium in London on Sunday night.
Sunday had crazy cricket freaks glued to the screens to witness the high voltage nail-biting World Cup game between England cricket team and New Zealand cricket team. Kiwis team played wonderfully till the last moment of the game but their faith went wrong to stop as runners.
The Black Caps scored 241 runs with the loss of 8 wickets in their quota of 50 overs. In reply, England were all-out for 241 runs as officials decided to play a super over in the tie match. England scored 15 runs in the super over with 2 boundaries in Trent Boult's bowling. In reply, New Zealand also made 15 runs in the super over with a single boundary. With all the dramatic situations, English Cricket Team won the final match on a boundary count and clinched the trophy for their nation.
