Two South African women cricketers sealed their relationship with a wedding bell. The Proteas women's cricket team captain Dane van Niekerk exchanged vows with her fellow woman cricketer Marizanne Kapp.

The South Africa fast bowling all-rounder Marizanne Kapp took to her Instagram account to share the happy news about their relationship and she also stated that most of her teammates, family and friends have graced the event in South Africa.

Both the players made their way into the international cricket with 2 days apart in the ICC Women's World Cup in 2009. Dane van Niekerk made her debut against West Indies on March 8 in 2009 while Marizanne Kapp played her first match against Australia on March 10 in 2009.

Niekerk and Kapp have become the second pair in women's cricket team to tie the knot after New Zealand's Amy Satterthwaite and Lea Tahuhu got married in March 2017.

The 25-year-old Dane van Niekerk has played 95 One-Day-International matches and scored 1770 runs with the highest score of 95. She also picked 125 wickets. The South African skipper also played 68 T20I and posted 1469 runs with the highest score of 90*. The leg break bowler also bagged 49 wickets in T20s till now.

The 28-year-old Marizanne Kapp has played 93 ODIs and scored 1618 runs with the career best of 102*. The right arm fast bowler snapped 99 wickets. The Sydney Sixers player also represented 62 T20Is for South Africa and scored 600 runs. Marizanne Kapp also claimed 48 wickets in her T20 career.
