It seems the celebrity wedding mania of the year 2018 is not over yet as another star couple joined the bandwagon who looks amazingly cute together. This time it is not a film celeb to tie the nuptial knot with another, but the newly-wed are Indian star shuttlers - Saina Nehwal and Parupalli Kashyap.

The couple has taken their wedding vows on December 14 (Friday) at the bride's residence in a private ceremony. The official news has been made out by the ace shuttler Saina herself through her twitter handle to her fans and well-wishers.

The lady tweeted: "Best match of my life. #justmarried".


Though being the ardent fans and followers of the sport and the couple, we have been hearing to a lot of buzz for the past many days about the couple's relationship, it was later in this year that we have heard of their marriage news trending on social platforms, officially. And now, their fans are taken by a big surprise with the wedding pictures of the duo doing rounds on social media platforms. Well, the mixed doubles pair are adorable.

It has been said and heard that the couple is seeing each other (off the court) for almost a decade now but never did they left any major clues about the wedding until this year.

The former world number 1 and current no 9 shuttler has 20 grand titles in her kitty, along with the 2012 Olympics Bronze medal. Also, she clinched the gold in the 2018 Commonwealth Games for India.

Whereas the groom, Kashyap, saw few ups and downs in his career. He touched peaks in terms of rankings at one point of his carrier but had to succumb to few defeats and had to halt his outings for a while owing to injuries. But Kashyap has a name for himself in the sport who had won gold in 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games in men’'s singles. A pride moment for India.
