France outclassed Belgium to enter into the finals in the 21st edition of the FIFA World Cup at Saint Petersburg Stadium on Tuesday. France now will be played with Croatia or England in the finals. Belgium played very well in the quarters against Brazil, but they were unable to equalize the goal in the semis.

France will play in the FIFA World Cup finals for the third time since their first finals in 1998 and second in 2006. Defender Samuel Umtiti was the hero for France as he scored a goal in the second half header. France goalkeeper Hugo Lloris and Croatia goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois both played very smartly as the match remained scoreless till the first half.

French footballer Matuidi surprised everyone by striking a magnificent shot, but it straight went into goalkeeper Courtois hands. The 1998 champions France steadily took chances as Matuidi's fantastic run looked to have dangerous time for Belgium.

The French team also have a free-kick and the strike from Griezmann was failed to convert a goal. Until the first half, it was shocking to see the scoreline for both the nations to remain scoreless.

After the half-time, France defender Samuel Umtiti scored a stunning goal from a corner point as they took a 1-0 lead for their team. France had wasted most of the time in the match while Belgium have a few chances to strike a goal but they failed to convert it.

In the second semifinal, England next will be played with Croatia at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow on Wednesday (kick-off 11:30 PM) and the final will be played at the same venue on Sunday (8:30 PM).
