Shikhar Dhawan, the natural stroke player and the perfect opener to fit the right and left combination at the top order for India is celebrating his 33rd birthday today, i.e., December 05. Born and brought up in the capital city of India, Shikhar Dhawan is the most prolific top order batsman in the Indian team.

Dhawan, nicknamed Gabbar, came to limelight through the Under 19 World Cup 2004, where he was the leading scorer with 505 runs including 3 centuries. He made his ODI debut against Australia in 2010 after some consistent performances at the domestic level.

His first Test call came up after 3 years against the same mighty Kangaroos in the 2013 home series, in which he created history by scoring the fastest century (in 85 balls) as a debutant and ended at 187 runs from 174 balls.

The supremely confident left-hander proved himself as the player of many major events, i.e., ICC events, where his stats show that he scores huge in those big matches.

Gabbar played in the IPL for Deccan Chargers, Delhi Daredevils, Mumbai Indians and Sunrisers Hyderabad.
