Xiaomi Launches 'Mi Notebook Air' With 8th Gen Intel Core i3 Processor

Xiaomi has introduced two Notebooks, with Intel's 8th generation Core i3 processor, that run Windows 10 Home Edition. These 'Mi Notebook Air' devices, that come with 13.3-inch display and 15.6-inch display variants, has up to 8GB of RAM, fast charging support with a USB Type-C port, and a 128GB SATA SSD with options to expand externally via HDD.

The 13.3-inch Mi Notebook Air with 8GB RAM has been priced at CNY 3,999 (approximately Rs 41,700). The 15.6-inch Mi Notebook Air base model with 4GB RAM/ 128GB storage is priced at CNY 3,399 (approximately Rs 35,500). The 13.3-inch model is now available to buy and the 15.6-inch model is up for pre-orders that will go on sale on November 11 in China.

13.3-inch Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air Specifications

The device sports a 13.3-inch full-HD (1920x1080 pixels) display with 170-degree viewing angle, 300nits brightness, and 80.1% screen-to-body ratio. The Mi Notebook Air runs pre-installed Windows 10 Home. It is powered by an 8th generation Intel Core i3-8130U with dual-core four-thread processor with L3 4MB cache, coupled with Intel UHD graphics 620, 8GB of DDR4 RAM, and a 128GB SATA SSD. It supports external hard drive expansion. The device has a fingerprint sensor. Dimensions of the notebook are 309.6x210.9x14.8mm and weight is about 1.3kg.

The Mi Notebook Air has a full size backlit keyboard with 1.3mm keystroke and 3nits brightness. It also sports a glass touchpad for precise cursor control and multi-finger gestures. There is a 40W battery cell under the hood. For video calling, the notebook gets a 1MP 720p front camera with a digital array microphone.

15.6-inch Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air Specifications

Mi Notebook 15.6-inch variant sports a 15.6-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) display, and features 4GB RAM and a 128GB SSD. The 8th gen Intel Core i3 processor is equipped with dual fan cooling system and 2+2 heat pipe layout. The notebook is available for pre-orders with sale starting from November 11 in China.
