Logitech Refreshes Its Popular G502 Gaming Mouse; Names It G502 LIGHTSPEED!

For the gamers around the world who love Logitech's G502 wired gaming mouse (2014) for its incredible performance and amazing customisable features has got exciting news to share! The company has reinvented it!

To expand its user base, the company has re-engineered the gaming mouse keeping intact all the great features of its original version while adding other advanced Logitech G technologies - PowerPlay wireless charging technology, Hero 16K sensor, thin-wall design and most importantly, the 'LIGHTSPEED wireless'!

In terms of features, Logitech G502 LIGHTSPEED runs on next-gen Hero 16K sensor which has the tracking speed of 400+ IPS across the entire 16,000 DPI sensitivity range and paired with 32-bit ARM Cortex-M-based SoC that makes the device work impressively fast and emanate tactile response. The sub-1ms report rate which ensures minimised latency.

Much like its previous sibling, it includes 11 programmable buttons to assign required actions and macros (through Logitech G HUB), weight tuning (adjusting weight accordingly), dual-mode hyper-fast scroll wheel, and light sync RGB technology.

When it comes to the new features, the ultra-fast LIGHTSPEED wireless technology's sub-1ms report rate and end-to-end optimised wireless connection ensure minimised latency and reliable performance while gaming sans wires.

Whereas the PowerPlay provides continuous gaming without worrying about the battery! Just go for a PowerPlay compatible wireless mouse pad that powers up the mouse even while at play! However, the mouse pad is an additional investment for you! In case when your mouse pad is away, you can charge it up via the micro USB port.

In terms of design, Logitech G502 LIGHTSPEED has the same design as its previous sibling but achieves a 7 gm weight reduction. In case you feel that the mouse too light, you can customise the weight with the inclusion of two 4gm disks and two 2gm disks. This totals the weight to 130gm.

Its rubberised side grips and the right-handed design offers enough friction that ensures maximum control while playing war games, etc., and comfortable gaming sessions for any stretched time periods. The rechargeable LiPo battery, on a single full charge, runs for 60hrs (without default lighting) and just with 5minutes of charging, through USB 2.0 port, you can enjoy almost 2.5hrs of gaming.

Price/Availability: 150 USD (Rs 11,000 approximately)/ Currently available in the US. As of now, there are no details regarding Indian pricing and availability.
