Lenovo Launched 'Z5s' And Much-Powerful 'Z5 Pro GT' Smartphones In China!

Lenovo has launched its much-rumoured flagship device, Lenovo Z5s, in Beijing, China. But rumours regarding its 10GB RAM and Snapdragon 845 (massive ram, fastest processor) have turned out to be false! However, the triple camera at the rear is by there.

Well, let’s see the actual specifications of Lenovo Z5s here.

Making its device comfortable for gamers, the company has added the optimised Game Turbo technology that offers precise control over any graphics intense games without heating up the smartphone.

In terms of design, with small water drop notch and ultra-thin bezels, the smartphone looks compact and futuristic. Also, the metal frame made with 6-series aluminium alloy and Gorilla Glass back offers the high-grade feel and ensure durability. The holographic three-dimensional rainbow texture offers classy look to the device. Further, Z5s is spill resistant with its P2i nano anti-splatter coating and has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB Type C port, 3.5mm audio jack, 4G VoLTE as connectivity options.

Price/Availability: 6GB RAM & 128GB variant costs CNY 1898 (Rs. 19,500 approx.) whereas, 4GB RAM & 64GB variant costs CNY 1398 (Rs. 14,400 approx.) and (6GB RAM & 64GB) variant costs CNY 1598 (Rs. 16,400 approx.). Pre-ordering has begun and sales start from December 24.

Lenovo Z5 Pro GT

Alongside, Lenovo also rolled out its ‘Z5 Pro GT’ at the event. And this model has got all top-flight configuration. You will witness the world's first Snapdragon 855 SoC that offers 3 times more AI performance, massive 12GB RAM that allows you to work on almost 50 apps simultaneously with blistering speed, and many more to name.

Unlike its sibling Lenovo Z5s, Pro GT has no notch, so you can enjoy the all-screen view. But the front camera has got a new position this time. Just like on Honor Magic 2, Z5 Pro GT also comes with a slider part at the back that houses selfie camera and an IR sensor for face authentication. You just need to slide it up with your fingers to pop out the selfie camera.

Not just the configuration, design factor of the handset is also very attractive. With all carbon back and carbon fibre finish, red accent on the rim of the top side, ultra-thin bezels and chin, slim form factor, etc., make the device superior in quality and rich in looks.

The connectivity features include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, USB Type-C, NFC, etc.

Price/Availability: 12 GB RAM & 512 GB storage costs CNY4,398 (Rs 45,000 approximately). Besides this, there is also 6GB/128GB variant that costs Rs 27,600 approximately and 8GB RAM/256GB internal storage is priced at Rs 35,000 approximately. Pre-ordering begins on January 15, 2019.
