HP Launched All-New 'Spectre Folio' And 'Spectre x360' Notebooks In India!

HP India, on February 13, expanded its premium notebook line-up in India with 'HP Spectre Folio' and the refreshed model of 'HP Spectre x360 device that was launched globally in October 2018. HP Spectre Folio, in cognac brown, is priced at Rs 1,99,990 whereas HP Spectre x360 in dark ash grey starts at a price of Rs 1,29,990 and in Poseidon blue at Rs 1,39,990.

HP Spectre Folio

To achieve a sleek and lightweight design, Spectre Folio is been incorporated with one of the smallest motherboards in the industry, capitalising on 8th Gen Intel Core i7 processor, and sports fan-less internal architecture. Besides these, the notebook comes with 13.3-inch full HD IPS touch display with 1920 x 1080 resolution and a coating of Corning's Gorilla Glass 4 for extra protection.

The thin bezels on the left and right sides and 178-degree viewing angles offer enhanced and high contrast visuals. Surprising you, 'Spectre Folio' is the world's first convertible PC to feature hand-crafted leather casing as claimed by HP. That means the entire body is meticulously made with 100% genuine leather material.

Rest apart, 16GB RAM, 512 GB SSD storage and a low-power, 1W 400-nits FHD that offers perfect viewing in any lighting condition and a 6-cell, 54.28Wh Li-ion battery unit that ensures 18hrs of run time on a single charge are the other features of Spectre Folio that run Windows 10 Pro out of the box.

Finally, the connectivity features include USB Type-C 3.1 port, two Thunderbolt 3 ports, 3.5mm headphone jack, SD card reader, Bluetooth 4.2 and 2×2 Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n/ac.

HP Spectre x360

When it comes to the features of HP Spectre x360, the laptop houses 13.3-inch full HF IPS touch display with 1920 x 1080 resolution and a Gorilla Glass NBT for added protection. The 360-degree hinge between the screen and back-lit keyboard enables the users to use it in tent and tablet modes as well.

The base model of the device is powered by 4.6 GHz Intel Core i5-8265U chipset (i7 variant is also available) that is coupled with 8GB RAM & 256GB SSD storage whereas the top end variant employs 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8565U processor that is paired with 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD storage. Besides these two, there is also a third variant with 1TB PCIe SSD and 4K UHD (3840 x 2160 resolution) display.

Further, the Windows 10 Pro run notebook consists of 4-cell, 61Wh Li-ion battery.

Spectra x360 comes with 'Privacy Camera Kill Switch' that turns off the PC's camera, fingerprint sensor(below the keyboard) with 'Windows Hello' support, 'HP SureView' that darkens your screen making it difficult for onlookers viewing at an angle of 35degrees and more from either side of the screen, 'HP Sleep and Charge' that powers up smartphones, tablets or any other device even while the laptop is asleep or hibernating  etc., are the other interesting aspects of the device.
