Tata Motors India has launched Tata Tigor in two new variants – XMA and XZA+ in India at a price of Rs 6.39 lakh and Rs 7.24 lakh, respectively. Both variants come equipped with 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine and few safety updates which are mandatory as regulated by the government.
The safety features of the Tigor includes – dual airbags, ABS with EBD, Corner Stability Control, reverse parking sensors, speed-dependent automatic door locking and engine immobilizer. Additionally, the two variants get a 7-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, eight-speaker sound system, 15-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, auto-fold ORVMs, LED indicators and projected headlamps with chrome finish.
Its 1.2-liter three-cylinders Revotron petrol engine delivers 85PS power and 114Nm of torque. The engine is mated to an optional 5-speed AMT (Auto Manual Transmission). Tata Motors is offering Tigor in six colours - blue, silver, brown, red, white, and grey.
The Tigor is also offered with a 1.05-liter Revotorq diesel engine which develops 69PS and 140Nm of torque. The diesel engine is paired to a 5-speed manual, as the automatic version is not on offered in the diesel engine variants.
