MG Motor Commenced Bookings For Hector & Opens MG Flagship Showroom

MG (Morris Garages) Motor India has commenced the bookings for its much-awaited first vehicle in India, the MG Hector from June 4, 2019. Interested customers can pre-book their MG Hector with a token amount of Rs 50,000 through company website mgmotor.co.in/ 120 authorised centres located across India.

Being India's first internet car, MG Hector comes with 50+ connected features, the Hector will come with 19 exclusive product features, making it the new benchmark in its segment. MG Hector with internet inside, the next-gen iSMART technology in the car promises safe, connected, and fun experiences. Hector gets the biggest 10.4-inch HD touchscreen first in the segment and connected features like music apps, voice assistance system, Internet-based entertainment and real-time navigation.

The Hector is also the first car with a sophisticated 48-volt mild-hybrid architecture in its segment, which provides extra torque assistance of 20Nm. The MG Hector will be available in both petrol and diesel variants. The 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine delivers 143PS power, 250Nm torque and will be available in both manual and automatic transmissions. Its 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine will deliver 170 PS at a peak torque of 350 Nm.

MG Motor will soon begin dispatches of the Hector from its Halol plant to its extensive network across 50 cities in India.

To redefine car buying experience in the country, MG Motor opened its first and one-of-a-kind flagship experience store at Milestone Experian Centre, Sector-15, Gurugram. Activating its widespread network of 120 centres across India, MG's first flagship storehouse the brand's sales operations and provides an immersive experience to the car buyers.

A large video wall of 36 connected TVs plays artfully-created brand videos to further engage visitors with the brand’s history and future vision. Through configurator wall, customers can have their choice of model, transmission type, and fuel variant, before proceeding to customise the look, feel and accessories that their MGs will come equipped with.
