Mahindra has recently christened its upcoming sub-compact SUV - XUV 300 and unveiled the images and videos of the car along with some specifications. Now, Mahindra has released a new video of XUV 300 being tested at Pininfarina's wind tunnel testing facility at Turin, Italy. Pininfarina is a subsidiary of Mahindra and is known for its striking aerodynamic car designs.

Mahindra is offering XUV300 in both petrol and diesel engine variants. The 1.5-litre diesel engine delivers 123PS power and 300Nm of torque whereas the 1.2-litre turbo petrol produces 120PS power. Both engines are mated to a 6-speed manual gear transmission. In terms of safety, the car features seven airbags, reversing camera and parking sensors, ABS, EBD, and ESP.
Mahindra has already commenced the bookings for XUV 300 with a token amount of Rs 50,000. However, the car gets tough competition from its rivals like Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Ford EcoSport, Renault Captur and Hyundai Creta. The XUV 300 is expected to be launched in the mid-February 2019.
