India's First Electric Motorcycle Revolt RV 400 Unveiled

Revolt Intellicorp has unveiled the much-awaited AI (Artificial Intelligence) enabled electric motorcycle/e-bike - Revolt RV 400. This is the first electric bike to go on sale in India with advanced features like Geo-fencing, Anti-theft and Geo-Tagging.

The bike comes with 4G LTE esim which will allow the motorcycle to connect to the Internet. It is also the first bike that doesn't need a key to start the bike and one can start the bike through a mobile app.

The bike features four artificial exhaust sound notes, the rider can shuffle them according to their own choice over the app. LED lighting set-up, digital instrument cluster, inverted forks up front along with front and rear disc brakes are the other standard features of the bike. With a top speed of 85kmph, the RV 400 can go up to 156km range (ARAI approved) with a single charge.

Revolt is offering a portable 15AMP power socket to charge the bikes' battery. The bike comes with a swappable battery that can be ordered via Revolt mobile application and it can be delivered to the required location.

The company will commence the pre-bookings from 25th June starting from Delhi and will be followed by NCR, Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Nagpur, Ahmedabad and Chennai in the next few months. Interested people can book the bike through Revolt official website and Amazon.

As of now, the bike doesn't have a direct rivalry in the market but soon it may get touch competition form Ather 450 electric scooter and upcoming Tork T6X electric motorcycle.
