One of India's leading passenger car manufacturer Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) has launched the Verna Anniversary Edition at a starting price of Rs 11.69 lakh. HMIL introduced this special edition, as a first-anniversary celebration of the next-gen Verna model launch in India.
According to the company, the Anniversary Edition will be available in the SX(O) MT/AT variants in petrol and SX(O) diesel MT variant in diesel. Hyundai has limited its production to just 1,000 units and is offered in Polar White and Marina Blue colours only.
Hyundai has introduced Marina Blue as a new special edition colour that comes with a host of features and designing. Features of the new Verna Anniversary Edition include ‐ front and rear skid plate, black ORVM, shark fin antenna, rear spoiler, wireless phone charging, anniversary edition emblem, sunroof, ventilated seats, smart trunk and telematics in existing top variants. The interiors boast of black covering with contrast blue stitching. Refreshed sporty all-black theme dashboard and blue colour accents give premium look to the interior.
Apart from the cosmetic and feature updates, the technical specifications of the car remain unchanged. It is powered by a 1.6-litre petrol and diesel engines. Both engines are mated to 6-speed manual and auto transmissions.

Hyundai next-gen Verna has won the Indian Car of the Year 2018 and also named as made-in India car for the world. The demand for next-gen Verna from both domestic and International markets has been overwhelming with the sale of 52,482 units in the domestic market and 27,126 units in the International markets.
