BMW India has launched seventh generation BMW 3 Series sedan in three different variants - 320d Sport Line, 320d Luxury Line and 330i M Sport at a price of Rs 41.40 lakh, Rs 46.90 lakh and Rs 47.90 lakh, respectively. BMW is offering 3 Series in two engine options - petrol and diesel.
The 320d variants are powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder diesel engine that delivers 190PS power and 400Nm of torque. While the 330i variant comes equipped with a 2.0-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder petrol engine that generates 258PS power and 400Nm of torque. Both engines are mated to an 8-speed auto transmission. The car also features four drive modes - Eco Pro, Comfort, Sport and Sport+ along with brake regenerative system as standard.
Split type headlamps, L-shaped LED DRLs, revised kidney grille, 17-inch alloy wheel (320d), 18-inch alloy wheel (330i), 8.8-inch touch screen infotainment and leather upholstery are the key features of the BMW 3 Series. The car also gets a personal voice assistance system activated by saying 'Hey BMW', with this one can control various operations such as climate control, navigation and many more.
Coming to the market rivalry, the car competes with the likes of Jaguar XE, Audi A4 and Mercedes-Benz C-Class.
