There exist some ultimate and ever-successful combinations in the film circles - hero-heroine, hero-director are to name a few. And hey, music is no exception in this case. Yes, there are some director and music composer combos that we crave for more and wish to have those tunes on loop. Today, we got the list ready for you.
Have a look here
1. Sukumar – Devi Sri Prasad
Right from his debut movie Arya to the recent blockbuster Rangasthalam, Sukumar has always opted for DSP. Sometimes, the music of DSP even helped the film to taste the real success. Listen to their films together and you agree to our point.
2. SS Rajamouli – MM Keeravani
The globally renowned director Rajamouli (if not exaggeration!) has some mind-boggling films to his kitty- Eega and Baahubali - are to name. From his first attempt Student No.1 with Jr NTR to the latest magnum opus Baahubali – The Conclusion, Keeravaani has always been there for Jakkanna.
3. Srikanth Addala – Mickey J Meyer
Four film old Srikanth Addala has a good rapport with Mickey it seems. The director's movies have some kind of family-oriented messages and each frame has life in it. Mickey's music plays a prominent role in conveying such sensitive things. While the first two movies Kotha Bangaru Lokam and SVSC are received well, the other films like Mukunda and Brahmotsavam have failed miserably at the box office. Whatever might be the result of the movie, all the albums are a huge hit.
4. Shankar – AR Rahman
From Gentleman to Robo and the latest 2.O, Shankar's choice was Rahman, except for the remake of 3 Idiots - Snehitudu.
While these are the directors who stick to a single music director, there are some other directors who have been working with the same composer for years from the beginning of their career but changed their later on.
5. Mani Ratnam – Ilaiyaraaja – AR Rahman
Since Ratnam's very first movie he has been working with Ilaiyaraaja, but it all changed once Rahman entered the scene in 1992 with Roja. From Roja to Ok Bangaram, Rahman is scoring tunes for all the flicks of Mani Ratnam.
6. Puri Jagannadh – Chakri
Puri Jagannadh and Chakri shared a good relation. Though Puri's first movie Badri's music was scored by Ramana Gogula, later for all the films from Bachi to Desamuduru, Chakri had given the tunes. After working in many films together with Chakri, it was believed Puri chose Mani Sharma for Pokiri upon Mahesh's suggestion. Since then, he kept fluctuating between the composers.
7. Teja – RP Patnaik
From Chitram to Lakshmi Kalyanam, Teja and RP Patnaik's combo was something that is worth watching. But later, Teja had collaborated with Chakri and then with Kalyani Koduri and Anup Rubens.
So guys, which pair is your favourite? Don't delay in writing to us if we have missed out on any super-hit combo.
