Amidst great expectations, Ram Charan's “Dhruva” has hit the theatres and has bagged a talk as a great engaging thriller.
It's a known fact that this action thriller is the official remake of Tamil blockbuster hit “Thani Oruvan”. According to reports, “Dhruva” director Surender Reddy has done a fabulous job in making it a successful remake. Reports also suggest that Surender hasn't disturbed the soul of the original and has made it look even more stylish and rich. In this aspect, the audience are clapping for him big time.
On the acting front, it is looking like Charan has given his career best performance in “Dhruva”. His transformation for his role will mesmerise the viewers while watching him on the big screen. If reports are to be believed, Charan's acting as “Dhruva” will remain special, particularly for showcasing a matured performance when needed and also for his ferocious looks in action sequences.
“Dhruva” is a villain-centric subject. The major highlight in the movie is the villain's characterisation. In “Thani Oruvan”, Arvind Swami has nailed it and has reprised the same role in “Dhruva”. And, the man has delivered his best without giving any option for the watchers to think about any alternatives. That's how he has killed it with his outstanding acting skills.
Rakul Preet is also bagging compliments for her decent performance and her skin-show in a song. According to the viewers, the interval bang and the interesting face-off between the hero and villain are the major highlights in the movie. Hiphop Tamizha's BGM is garnering greater applause than his songs.
Overall, “Dhruva” is an engaging actioner with best performances.
