Rakul tops the list with three big hits, “Nannaku Prematho”, “Sarrainodu” and “Dhruva”. These three movies have rocked the box office with collections tsunami.
This year Sam came up with four movies. Out of which, “Janatha Garage” and “A..Aa” scored super hits, while “24” remained as a hit and “Brahmotsavam” turned out to be a disaster.
'Dimple beauty' Lavanya Tripathi has bagged decent hits this year by scoring a super hit with “Soggade Chinni Nayana” and a decent hit with “Srirastu Subhamastu”.
'Milky beauty' Tamannaah starrer “Oopiri” had a decent run at the box office while her horror comedy “Abhinetri” just stood as an average grosser.
'Tollywood Chandamama' Kajal Aggarwal had a bad run this year with both her movies “Sardaar Gabbar Singh” and “Brahmotsavam” ending as disasters.
After scoring a super hit with “Supreme”, Raashi Khanna starrer “Hyper” offered a big blow to the actress.
Hebah Patel's thriller drama “Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada” was a super hit whereas the recent release “Nanna Nenu Naa Boyfriends” has just earned an average talk.
Except “Jyo Achyutananda”, which had a decent run at the box office, “Shankara” and “Shourya” are big let-downs for Regina.
Kerala beauty “Nivetha Thomas” who has recently debuted in Tollywood, scored a striking hit with “Gentleman”.
US-born Indian actress “Anu Emmaneul” has made a decent debut with “Majnu”. The romantic drama is a decent watch with fun moments, twists and lovely songs.
“Janatha Garage”, a comeback film for Nitya Menen, stood as a blockbuster hit in her account, after the failure of “Okka Ammayi Thappa”.
“Nenu Sailaja” which stood as a blockbuster, is the only Telugu film from Keerthy Suresh till date. The actress upcoming flick “Nenu Local” starring Nani is gearing up for release next year.
Naga Chaitanya starrer “Premam”, a Malayalam remake with the same title, is the only movie released from Shruti Haasan this year. This romantic love drama had a fair run at the box office.
