Amaravati: After the sudden demise of Ex-Minister YS Vivekananda Reddy, which riffled the Andhra Pradesh with a war of words between ruling TDP and opposition YSRCP, the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) chief Jagan Mohan Reddy announced the candidates for parliament constituencies of April 11, Lok Sabha elections.

As per the list, YS Avinash Reddy, cousin of Jagan will be contesting from Kadapa parliament constituency who resigned for Lok Sabha in last June demanding for the 'Special Category Status' for Andhra Pradesh.

Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Sunil Arora on Sunday in New Delhi announced the schedule for 17th Lok Sabha polls and the Assembly polls in Andhra Pradesh as well, which will take place on April 11 in a single phase.

The results of the Assembly and Lok Sabha polls will be announced on May 23.
