Twitter has suspended its own CEO and co-founder Jack Dorsey's account for about thirty minutes. Around at 7:30 AM, tweeple who tried to access Jack's account got a "this account has been suspended" message.
Dorsey has 3.91 million followers and tweeted more than 20,000 tweets before his account got suspended.
After 30 minutes, Jack's account was restored and said the suspension was a technical glitch. He said the same thing in a tweet that reads "Just setting up my twttr...again (account suspension was an internal mistake)," which is his first tweet in 2006.
In general, Twitter has the right to deactivate any user's twitter account that violates the T&C of the micro-blogging website.
