God won't allow any person to keep away from destiny, the imperative is to follow it and accept it. Moreover, we need to act up to the magnitude of the destiny crafted by the almighty.
Sathamanam Bhavathi, released as the Sankranthi outing this year amidst two big movies Khaidi No 150 and Gautamiputra Satakarni turned out to be a blockbuster movie due to its impressive storyline which revolves around relations, values and emotions pertaining to every family of contemporary generation.
This movie produced by Dil Raju and directed by Sathish Vegesna was recently awarded the best popular movie providing wholesome entertainment at the 64th National Film Awards.
This film deals with the sensitive midlife crisis faced by a couple (Prakash Raj and Jayasudha) living in a village, where their children lives in abroad and doesn't show any concern to come back India to see their parents at least once in a year for major festivals even.
The crux of the movie begins under mysterious circumstances, where Prakash Raj wishes to divorce his wife Jayasudha and later on how he explains the feelings of a mid age couple living alone without their children.
Sathamanam Bhavathi is an elite form of blessing given by elders at the time of birthdays, marriages etc to live happily for 100 years.
Irony of Life: Although the movie turned out to be complete family entertainment and winning big nationwide, but when it comes to reality, unexpected tragedy and major setback happened in the lives of Jayasudha and Dil Raju (Main pillars of the film) where they have lost their life partners (Nitin Kapoor- Jayasudha's husband and Anitha- wife of Dil Raju). At this juncture, they couldn't even cherish the moment as the destiny made them to loose their sole mate keeping an end to their long-lasting relationship.
Bottom Line: We come across housefull cinema halls for a good family entertainment, where the plot portrays family values, attachments, but at the same time sad to say that the number of old age homes and nuclear families getting increased day by day leading to degeneration of human values to the core in the name of urbanisation and busy work schedules.
Most of the current generation people leading their lives following "Vasthuvulni preminchadam...Manushulni Vadukovadam". But if the situation turns to "Manushulni preminchadam...Vasthuvulni Vadukovadam" everything in life turns to be beautiful.
