Try Out The Delicious Yet Healthy 'Chicken Broccoli Salad'...

Broccoli, a low-calorie veggie that most of the fitness freaks are opting nowadays. Being a powerhouse of vitamins and antioxidants, this green cruciferous veggie helps us to stay healthy. Well! But how many of you like broccoli? Only a few right? Yes, most of the people show no interest to eat broccoli.

So, for all those people who don't like to eat broccoli, here is an interesting recipe for you i.e., 'Chicken Broccoli Salad'. Believe us! The stir-fried chicken along with the boiled broccoli and other spices will definitely make you eat. Here we go!


  • Broccoli - 250 gchicken broccoli salad

  • Chicken fillets - 250 gm

  • Water as required

  • Oil - 1 tsp

  • Salt as required

  • Chopped green chillies - 3

  • Chopped garlic - 5

  • Sesame seeds - 1-2 tsp

Ingredients For Marinating Chicken

  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp

  • Egg - 1

  • Cornflour - 1tbsp

  • Soy sauce - 2 tsp

  • Salt to taste

  • Oil as required

Method To Follow

  1. Clean and chop the broccoli into pieces. Boil the broccoli in water by adding a little salt and a tsp of oil for a few minutes and take them into a bowl. Set aside.

  2. Marinate the chicken by adding cornflour, a teaspoon of soy sauce, egg, ginger-garlic paste and salt.

  3. Heat 1-2 tbsp of oil in a pan and saute the chopped garlic, chopped chillies, remaining soy sauce for a minute.

  4. Finally, add the marinated chicken and stir fry the chicken until tender.

  5. Take it off the flame and transfer the sauteed chicken into the boiled broccoli bowl and mix it well.

Note: You can also add other sautéed veggies like carrots, mushrooms, etc., to the salad.

Sprinkle the sesame seeds over the salad and devour the sizzling 'Chicken-Broccoli Salad'...
