Ingredients You Need

  • Tiger Prawns - 1 Kg (cleaned and deveined)tandoori prawns

  • Juice of a half lemon

  • Salt to taste

  • Turmeric powder - ½ tsp

  • Kashmiri red chilli powder - 2-3 tsp

  • Garam masala - 1 tsp

  • Cumin powder - 1 tsp

  • Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tsp

  • Yoghurt/ Hungcurd - 2 tbsp

  • Skewer sticks (soaked)

Preparation

  1. First marinate the prawns, for this, mix in the ingredients - prawns, lemon juice, salt to taste, turmeric powder, kashmiri red chilli powder, garam masala, cumin powder, ginger-garlic paste, yoghurt and mix them well.

  2. Let it sit for 30 minutes. Meanwhile preheat the grill for 10 minutes and arrange the grilling tray.

  3. Now gently poke the skewer sticks to the marinated prawns and transfer them into the grilling tray.

  4. Grill the prawns for about 8 minutes on each side, i.e., on both the sides. Make sure that you should not overcook them as overcooking might turn the prawns into rubbery texture.

That's it! The yummy starter 'Tandoori Prawns' are ready to serve now...
