Sore throat and cold are quite common health ailments in this winter. Even though we suffer from those health issues, the chilled weather makes us crave for spicy foods. And to your surprise, there is a spice which treats your sore throat as well as satiates your taste buds with its amazing flavour when it is added to your cook-ups. It's nothing but 'Pepper'.

So, today we are here with the delicious 'Egg Curry' made with the perfect touch of spicy pepper. Having this not only satisfies your spicy cravings but also healthy as well. Here we go!

Ingredients You Need

2 boiled halved eggs; 1 medium sized onion; 1 medium sized tomato; 2 green chillies; 1 tsp chilli powder; 1 tsp coriander powder; 2 tsp pepper powder; 1 tsp cumin powder; 1-2 tbsp whipped curd; ½ tbsp ginger-garlic paste; ½ tsp turmeric powder; 1 tsp mustard seeds; 1 tsp cumin seeds; 2-3 cloves; 1 small stick cinnamon; 2 sprigs curry leaves; 3-4 stalks fresh coriander leaves; salt to taste; oil as required

Method To Prepare Spicy 'Pepper Egg Masala'...

  • Heat oil in a wok and shallow fry the eggs until light brown and take them into a plate. Saute mustard seeds, cumin seeds, cloves and cinnamon in the same oil for a while.

  • Then goes chopped onion, turmeric powder, green chillies, curry leaves until translucent. Add ginger-garlic paste and let it fry to get off from the raw smell.

  • Now, add chopped tomato, chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, pepper powder and stir it to get a fine mixture.

  • It is perfect time to add fried eggs along with sufficient water and let it cook to get a thick gravy.

  • Add whipped curd and cook again for few more minutes. Sprinkle coriander leaves and give a quick stir.
