And finally, the weekend has arrived and the food cravings are on... Many of you might have planned for it, but there are some people who are in dilemma on what special food to have this weekend. Are you one among them? Well! Don't over think, we are here to your rescue. Today we have come up with the simple yet delicious chicken recipe, i.e., 'Spicy Chicken Fry', to treat your taste buds.

So, without any delay have a look at the recipe and try it out...


  • Chicken – 500 gm

  • Chopped onion – 1chicken fry

  • Chopped tomato – 1

  • Slitted green chillies – 4-5

  • Red chilli powder – 1 tbsp

  • Cumin powder – 1 tsp

  • Pepper powder – 1 tsp

  • Chicken masala powder – 1 tsp (optional)

  • Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp

  • Ginger garlic paste – 2 tbsp

  • Oil as required

  • Salt to taste

  • Handful of chopped coriander leaves

Preparation Of 'Chicken Fry'

  1. First marinate the chicken by adding 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, half tbsp salt and 1 tbsp oil. Mix them well and let it sit for at least 20-30 minutes.

  2. Heat 4-5 tbsp oil in pan and add the chopped onions, green chillies, 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste and stir them and saute for a few minutes.

  3. Then add the chopped tomatoes and saute it for a minute.

  4. Now add the marinated chicken and give it a nice stir and close the lid and let it cook for 5 minutes.

  5. Thereafter, add the cumin powder, pepper powder, chicken masala and salt to taste. Mix them well; cover and let it cook until it's completely done.

  6. Make sure that you stir the chicken in regular intervals. Finally, sprinkle the chopped coriander leaves over the fry.
