Potato Cheese Croquettes: A Crispy And Yummy Potato Snack...

Potato snacks are the all time favourite ones for many of us, right? Yes! Be it a simple recipe made out with the potatoes, it will turn into a delicious one. So without late, let's jump into the recipe...


  • Boiled and mashed potatoes - 3 cups

  • Salt to tastepotato croquettes

  • Pepper powder - ½ tsp

  • Mozzarella cheese - ½ cup

  • Processed cheese - ½ cup

  • Chilli-garlic sauce - 2 tbsp

  • Oil to deep fry

  • All purpose flour - ½ cup

  • Water as required

  • Bread crumbs - 1 cup

Preparation Of Potato Cheese Croquettes

  1. Into a bowl, add mashed potatoes, salt, pepper powder and mix them gently and set it aside.

  2. In another bowl, mix in the mozzarella cheese, processed cheese, chilli-garlic sauce and mix them well. Set this cheese mixture aside.

  3. Now mix in the all purpose flour and required water to form a smooth batter.

  4. Now take a portion of the potato mixture and flatten it with your palm and place 1-2 tsp of cheese mixture in the centre. Gently close the ends and shape it into a cylinder or a croquette.

  5. Dip this croquette in the flour batter and then in the bread crumbs and set it aside.

  6. Follow the same procedure for the rest of the potato and cheese mixture.

  7. Heat the oil in a wok and deep fry the potato croquettes until golden brown. Thereafter, dish them out into a paper lined plate to drain the excess oil.

The hot, crispy outside and cheesy inside 'Potato Croquettes' are ready to hit your tummies. Have them with tomato sauce or any dip.
