  • Oil to deep fry

  • Mustard seeds - 1 tsp

  • Curry leaves - 1 sprig

  • Asafoetida - ½ tsp

  • Chopped onion - 1

  • Chopped tomato - 1

  • Turmeric powder - ½ tsp

  • Red chilli powder - 1 tsp

  • Sambar masala - 1½ tsp

  • Salt to taste
