Ingredients To Marinate Paneer
Paneer - 400 gm (cubed)
Black pepper powder - ¼ tsp
Salt - 1 tsp
Red chilli powder - ½ tsp
Garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Ginger paste - 1 tbsp
Corn flour - 1 tbsp
Other Ingredients
Oil - 3 tbsp
Chopped garlic - 1 tbsp
Dried red chillies - 2-3
Sliced onion - 1 large
Bell pepper cubes (red, green & yellow) - ½ cup each
Red chilli sauce - 2 tsp
Soy sauce - 2 tsp
Roasted peanuts - ¼ cup
Salt - ¼ tsp
Black pepper powder - ¼ tsp
Water as required
Corn flour slurry - 1-2 tbsp
Preparation Of Kung Pao Paneer
First, let us marinate the panner. Take a bowl, add paneer cubes and add all the marination ingredients and mix them well. Set it aside for at least 20 minutes.
Now heat 2 tbsp of oil in a pan and fry the marinated paneer and dish them out and keep them aside.
To the same pan, heat a tbsp of oil and add chopped garlic, dried red chillies and saute them for a while.
Now add the onions and saute them for few minutes until the colour changes slightly. Thereafter, add the bell peppers and mix them well. Let them saute for a few minutes.
Then add red chilli sauce, soy sauce, peanuts, salt, pepper powder and mix them well. Pour some water around half cup, cornflour slurry and give a quick stir and leave for a few minutes.
Now goes the fried paneer cubes. Mix all together and leave for 5 minutes on a medium flame.
