Our favourite weekend, Sunday has arrived. And no doubt, everyone opts for the yummy chicken specials. Despite your regular chicken recipes like chicken curry, fry, biryani, this week give a tasty twist to your chicken by preparing 'Honey Garlic Chicken'.
Fret not! It's very easy to prepare. And, to your surprise, we are here with that recipe and that too by the legendary chef, Sanjeev Kapoor.
So without delay, look into the recipe...
Boneless chicken pieces – 400 gms
Cornflour – 1½ tbsp
Egg – 1
Salt to taste
Oil to deep fry
Chopped garlic – 1 tbsp
Onion – 1 (cut into cubes)
1 Medium green capsicum (cut into cubes)
Red chilli flakes – 1 tsp
White sesame seeds – 1 tbsp (roasted)
Chicken stock – 1½ cups
Soy sauce – 1 tbsp
White pepper powder – 1 tsp
Cornflour slurry – 1 tbsp
Honey – 2 tbsp

Take the chicken pieces into a bowl and add cornflour, salt, egg and mix them well.
Heat the oil in a pan and deep fry the marinated chicken pieces and dish them out into a paper coated plate.
Meanwhile, heat a tbsp of oil in a pan and add chopped garlic, onions, capsicum, red chilli flakes, roasted sesame seeds and saute them for 2-3 minutes.
Now add chicken stock, soy sauce, white pepper powder and required salt. Let them cook for 5 minutes.
Now add the fried chicken pieces, cornflour slurry, honey to it and stir them well.
And, that's it! The piping hot 'Honey Garlic Chicken' is all set to serve...
