So, here we have shared a delicious sweet recipe, i.e., 'Carrot Halwa'.
The name itself is tempting and after looking at that colourful dessert, we can't wait even for a minute. So without any delay, have a look at the recipe and make it on your own...
Grated carrot/ gajar - 6-7
Milk - 1 cup
Sugar - ¾ cup
Ghee - 4-5 tbsp
Cardamom powder - ¼ tsp
Khoya - ½ cup
Cashews, almonds, raisins and pistachios - 1 tbsp each
Preparation Of 'Gajar Ka Halwa'
Heat the ghee in a pan and saute the grated carrot for few minutes until the raw smell goes away. Cover and let it cook for 3-4 minutes on a low flame.
Now add the milk and mix it well; cover and cook it for 2-3 minutes.
When the milk reduces, add the sugar and give a nice stir until the sugar dissolves completely.
Add cardamom powder, khoya and mix them well. Finally, add the nuts and stir it well and off the flame.
The colourful and toothsome 'Carrot Halwa' is ready to serve...
