Hey French fries lovers, rejoice! Today is your favourite 'French Fries Day'. And being an ardent lover of them, let's celebrate this special day by devouring them. This crispy, soft and yummy snack always tops the list of most preferred snacks. And this time, without stepping out, let's prepare them at our condo.

Of course! Many of you might have tried it many a times but only a few of them will get the perfect restaurant style fries. Worry not! Here we have doled out the perfect recipe of French Fries. Have a look!

Ingredients You Need

  • 4 large potatoes

  • Oil for deep frying

  • Salt to taste

  • Water as required

Preparation Of Crispy French Fries

  1. Clean and peel the skin of the potatoes and chop them into stripes. Boil the water with a teaspoon of salt and cook the chopped potatoes until ¾th done.

  2. Take it off the flame ad strain the water using colander. Pat dry them by using tissue or kitchen towel and pack them in a zip bag.

  3. Refrigerate the zip bag for 3-4 hours. This refrigeration process add the perfect crispiness to the French fries.

  4. Heat the oil in a wok and take out the chopped potatoes. Deep fry them in heated oil until light golden brown and dish them out into a paper lined plate to drain the excess oil.

  5. Sprinkle the salt and toss them well until all the fries coated well with the salt.

Note: Remember that the temperature of the oil plays a key role to prepare the perfect crispy and soft French fries. If the oil is not heated well, the French fries should become soft and soggy.
