Eggs are one of the much-loved comfort foods for many of us. And, we feel much satisfied with any recipe made out of them, isn't it? Yes... That's the magic lies in the eggs! Well, eggs are always a great option for breakfast and moreover, when we eat a satiating meal in the morning, we stay active and balanced throughout the day.
So, to kick-start your day with a tasty meal, EeYuva is here with the simple and delicious 'Egg Chapati' recipe. Have a look!
Eggs - 3
Whole wheat flour - 1 cup
Salt as required
Ghee/Oil as required
Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
Chopped onions - 1 large
Chopped green chilli - 1-2
Coriander powder - ½ tsp
A handful of chopped coriander leaves
Preparation Of 'Egg Chapati'...
Firstly, mix the whole wheat flour with sufficient water and knead it into a soft chapati dough and set it aside for 30 minutes.
Into a bowl, beat the eggs and add red chilli powder, coriander powder, chopped onions, green chillies, coriander leaves and mix them well and set it aside.
Now, divide the dough into 2equal portions and roll them into medium sized chapatis.
Heat a tsp of oil in a pan and slightly roast the chapati on both the sides by applying oil or ghee on a medium flame.
Now, spread a tbsp of egg mixture on one side of the chapati and flip it. Apply the egg mixture on the other side of the chapati and then cook it for few minutes and dish it out.
Follow the same procedure for the rest of the chapatis.
And, the mouth-watering and delicious 'Egg Chapatis' are ready to devour...
