Egg Bonda/ Egg Bajji is one of the popular South Indian street foods. And, if you are an egg lover, then you will definitely love this delicious snack. Ingredients You Need

  • Boiled eggs - 5egg bonda

  • Salt to taste

  • Turmeric powder - ¼ tsp

  • Chilli powder - 2 tsp

  • Pepper powder - 1 tsp

  • Gram flour - ½ cup

  • Rice flour - 2 tsp

  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp

  • Water as required

  • Oil to deep fry

Method To Prepare Egg Bonda

  1. Into a bowl add some salt, turmeric powder, 1 tsp chilli powder, ½ tsp pepper powder and mix them well.

  2. Take hold of an egg and make slits on it using a knife and roll it in the prepared spices powder. Follow the same for the rest of the eggs.

  3. Now into a bowl, add gram flour, rice flour, salt ot taste, 1 tsp chilli powder, ½ tsp pepper powder, ginger-garlic paste, little water and mix them well. Make sure that the batter should not be too runny.

  4. Now dip the masala coated boiled eggs in this batter until they are coated well with it.

  5. Heat the oil in a wok and drop the coated eggs one by one and deep fry them.

And, the super delicious 'Egg Bondas' are ready to munch now. Have them with tomato sauce!
