At times, we all crave for something tasty and spicy food. Of course! Not all the times, but at least once in a while, everyone has to satiate their taste buds. What say? Yes...
Well! Behind your regular lunch box recipes, this time just give it a try to the yummy chicken fried rice, that too in a restaurant style. Isn't it mouth-watering? So, without delay let's jump into the recipe...
Cooked basmati rice – 1 cup
Boneless chicken – 1 cup (cut into strips)
Eggs – 2
Black Pepper powder – ½ tsp
White pepper powder – ½ tsp
Corn flour – 1 tsp
Soy sauce – 2 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil as required
Finely chopped ginger and garlic – 1 tsp each
Spring onion whites – 3 tbsp
Spring onion greens – 2 tbsp
Finely chopped carrots – 1 tbsp
Chilli sauce – 1 tsp
Vinegar – 1 tsp
Note: Add a tsp of oil, lemon juice and required salt in the water before you cook the rice in order to avoid sticking.
Method To Prepare Chicken Fried Rice
Take the chicken pieces into a bowl and add black pepper powder, corn flour, one tsp of soy sauce and some salt. Mix them together, marinate and leave it aside for 15 minutes.
Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a pan and fry the marinated chicken pieces until they become slightly brown. Off the flame and set them aside. Meanwhile, beat the eggs and keep it aside.
Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a pan and add the chopped ginger and garlic and saute them for a while. Now add chopped spring onion whites, carrots and saute them for 2 minutes.
Add the beaten eggs and scramble it well with the veggies. Then add the fried chicken pieces, one tsp of soy sauce, chilli garlic sauce and stir them well for a minute.
Now add the cooked basmati rice, white pepper powder, vinegar and required salt and mix them well. Finally, sprinkle the spring onions.
That's it! The hot, delicious and mouth-watering 'Chicken Fried Rice' is ready to serve...
