Coriander fish curry! How many of you have tried this recipe? Only a few, right? Yes! It's the delicious Bengali cuisine which is prepared with the flavour of the aromatic herb 'Coriander'. Well! Coriander adds that extra flavour to the recipes and what about the coriander fish curry? Wanna try it?

Fish: ¼ Kg; Coriander leaves: 1 cup; Chopped tomatoes: 2; garlic: 8 cloves; Green chillies: 2; Coriander powder: 1 tsp; Fenugreek seeds: 1 tsp; Cumin seeds: 1 tsp; Cumin powder: 1 tsp; Turmeric powder: ¼ tsp; Salt to taste: Oil as required; Water: 1 cup
Clean and cut the fish into pieces. Marinate the fish pieces with salt and turmeric and set aside for 15 minutes.
Blend the coriander leaves along with garlic, green chillies into a fine paste.
Shallow fry the marinated fish pieces for a few minutes and drain them using a paper towel.
Process For Green Fish Curry
Saute the fenugreek seeds and cumin seeds till they crackle in the remaining oil in the same wok. Then, add the coriander paste, stir it until the oil separates.
Now, add in the tomatoes, let them cook in simmer. Then, give a quick stir with cumin and coriander powders.
Add water and let the masala gravy cook in simmer with closed lid. It's time to add the fish pieces, let the marinated fish cook in the gravy on low flame for 10 minutes. Adjust the salt if needed.
