Bhuni Makai Ka Soup: A Cosy Soup For This Chilled Winter...

Winter and soups are inseparable! Whatever the soup it might be, it satiates our cravings and keeps us cosy from inside in this chilled weather. Soups are one of the most comfort foods that one can devour at any time of the day.

Wanna slurp a thick and hot soup? Here we have shared an amazing corn soup i.e., 'Bhuni Makai Ka Soup' doled out by the chef Sanjeev Kapoor. Have a look and give it a try...


  • Olive oil - 1 tbsp

  • Butter - 1 tbsp

  • Garlic cloves - 5

  • Sliced onion - 1 large

  • Corn kernels - 2 cups

  • Vegetable stock - 4 cups

  • Salt to taste

  • Crushed black peppercorns - ½ tsp (as per your taste)

  • Chopped coriander leaves - 1 tbsp

  1. Heat the oil and butter in a pan and add the garlic cloves, sliced onion and saute them for few minutes.

  2. Now add the corn kernels and saute them for 5-6 minutes. Then add the vegetable stock along with some salt and peppercorn powder. Mix them well and cover and cook until the corn kernels become tender.

  3. Now blend the mixture into a fine paste and strain it into another bowl on a low flame.

  4. Add the coriander leaves, required salt and peppercorns powder as per your taste. Mix it gently and take it off the flame. Dish it out and garnish it with coriander leaves and corn kernels.

The hot and delicious 'Bhuni Makai Ka Soup' is all ready to serve...
