Curd is one of the best life saviours of summer where it keeps us healthy and hydrated if we consume it regularly in this sweltering temperatures. As we have already come up with a few delicious curd recipes like 'Gujarati Kadhi', 'Colocasia Curd Curry', etc., This time, we are here with the 2 cool raita recipes 'Onion-Tomato Raita' and 'Carrot Raita' that are perfect for this summer. Have a look!

1. Carrot Raita

Ingredients List

  • Grated carrot - ¾ cup

  • Curd - 1 cup

  • Chopped onions - ½ cup

  • Chopped green chillies - 1-2

  • Roasted cumin seeds powder - ¼ tsp

  • Salt to taste

  • Chopped coriander leaves - 1 tbsp

Method To Prepare

  1. Whisk the curd in a big bowl until a lump-free creamy texture is formed.

  2. Then goes, green chillies, cumin powder, salt, grated carrot, onions, coriander leaves and give a quick stir.

2. Onion And Tomato Raita

Ingredients

  • Curd - 2 cups

  • Chopped onion and tomatoes - Each ½ cup

  • Salt to taste

  • Chopped green chillies - 2-3

  • Cumin powder - ½ tsp

  • Chopped coriander leaves - 2 tbsp

Method To Prepare

Whisk the curd and add chopped onions, tomatoes, salt, green chillies, cumin powder and mix them well. Give a final touch with chopped coriander leaves.
