The Council of Architecture (COA), India invites applications from all the enthusiasts of architecture profession to appear in National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA), the eligibility test for admission into a five year B.Arch., course for the academic year 2017 - 18. There are currently about 450 institutions in India, which provides architectural education, maintaining the standards of COA.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates need to be passed in 10+2 standard/10+ 3 (Diploma)/International Baccalaureate Diploma (with minimum aggregate of 50% marks and mathematics as one of the subjects in any one of the three criteria mentioned above).

  • Candidates appearing for final year examinations can also apply.

  • The lower age limit is 17 years as on July 31, 2017.

Application Procedure

The application form has to be filled online at the portal, which is a three step procedure.

  • Filling up of personal details

  • Uploading the required documents

  • Fee payment (Rs 1250) through online

Then print the confirmation page for future reference.

Important Dates

  • Last date for online submission of filled in applications is February 02, 2017 by 11:59 PM and fee can be paid till February 04, 2017.

  • However, correction of errors in the application form can be done from February 20 to 24, 2017

  • Admit cards can be downloaded from March 26, 2017.

  • The examination is scheduled on April 16, 2017 (11 AM to 2 PM)
