For nearly 20 years, the GMAC Application Trends Survey has gathered intelligence on the current market for graduate business school applicants. The Application Trends Survey 2018 report contains an analysis of data submitted by 1,087 graduate business school programmes at 363 business schools worldwide, which is a new participation record.
Participating programmes are located in 44 countries, including India. India, a geographical part of the Asia-Pacific Region, took participation with 19 business schools offering 24 programmes. So let us go through the Asia-Pacific scenario in the light of GMAC Application Trends Survey 2018.
In the Asia Pacific, 75 per cent of full-time two-year MBA programs report application volume growth while overall application volumes to graduate business programs in 2018 are steady.
Application increases to Asia-Pacific programs are driven primarily by domestic demand.
