The Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) is all set to end this year with huge! After releasing the 'BRICS University Rankings 2018' last week, it started stretching its wings again by revealing the first-ever 'QS World University Rankings: Masters in Management Rankings 2018.'
The leading global provider of career information, QS, designed the rankings to cater for a growing interest in specialised business master's degree. It identified the best business schools and universities across the world for studying finance, management and business analytics.
QS claims that these degree paths are becoming increasingly popular as an alternative to an MBA, particularly among entrepreneurial students and the business analytics ranking is particularly notable for being the first of its kind to ever be compiled anywhere in the world.
HEC Paris ranked as the best institution in a total of 122 institutions for studying a master's in management. However, London Business School and MIT Sloan School of Management are the best in finance and business analytics courses respectively.
While coming to India's representation, three institutes got placed in the management rankings. IIM Bangalore, IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Calcutta secured the 22nd, 23rd, and 46th ranks respectively.
The three rankings were assessed based on five metrics namely employability, alumni outcomes, value for money, thought leadership and class & faculty diversity.
