The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has given clarification regarding the postponement of exams, which are scheduled on June 02, 04 and 09. The Institute has elaborated the reasons for rescheduling of the examinations as below.
Postponement of Paper on 2nd June to 4th June was occasioned by the inability expressed by many exam centres to conduct the exam on that date owing to their holding UPSC exams on that day.
Paper on 4th June was postponed to 13th June so that Group I of Final Exams is completed before commencing Group II papers.
Postponement of Paper on 9th June to 13th June was necessitated for the convenience of the common candidates of the Foundation Exam of ICAI and the Foundation exam of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, scheduled on 9th June 2019.
The institute had already rescheduled the examinations earlier, keeping in view of the Lok Sabha elections across the country. The ICAI authorities made it clear that oher than the above date changes, the exam schedule remains intact, and requested the participants to notice, cooperate and prepare accordingly.
