HORTICET is an entrance test conducted for admission into BSc Horticulture (Hons.) course for the candidates holding Diploma in Horticulture. 15 per cent of the toal BSc Horticulture seats are allocatted to diploma students. Read the vital details about the exam below.

  • The objective type entrance test is conducted for 100 marks, consisting of 200 questions in Telugu language.

  • Duration of time for Entrance test is two hours.

  • Diploma in Horticulture Course syllabus is the prescribed syllabus for HORTICET entrance.

  • The qualifying percentage of marks for the HORTICET entrance is 25% of the aggregate marks. For SC, ST candidates, there is no minimum qualifying marks.

  • Age should be between 17-22 years, while the age bar is 25 years for SC, ST candidates and 27 years in respect of PH candidates.

  • Last date for applying HORTICET 2019 is June 30, 2019.
