The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the organising of JEE Main April 2019, which is the qualifying examination for admission into undergraduate programmes in NITs, IITs and various Centrally Funded Technical Institutions. Below detailed are some noteworthy points for the newbies of JEE Mains and are equally useful for the reapplicants as well.

Important Dates

  • Last date for submission of online applications: 07.03.2019 till 11:50 PM

  • Last date for online fee payment: 08.03.2019 till 11:50 PM

  • Correction of particulars except for cities: 11.03.2019 to 15.03.2019

  • Dates of examination: Between 07.04.2019 to 20.04.2019

  • Declaration of the result of Paper I: 30.04.2019

  • Declaration of the result of Paper II: 15.05.2019

Type of Examination

JEE Main April 2019 consists of two papers,

  • Paper-1 (for BE/BTech.) and

  • Paper -2 (for BArch./BPlanning)

You may take Paper-1 or Paper-2 or both as per the course you are seeking admission to.

Age Limit

There is no age limit to appear for JEE Mains; however, you have to satisfy the age criteria of the institutions that you are seeking admission.

Steps To Apply Online For JEE Main April 2019

  • STEP 1: Register for online application form and note down system-generated application number.

  • STEP 2: Login with your application number and complete the application form filling.

  • STEP 3: Upload the scanned images of your photograph and your signature.

  • STEP 4: Make fee payment by Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking or e-challan after which you have to print the Confirmation Page.
