The AP Government is incessantly working on the recruitment of near two lakh village volunteers and ward volunteers to survive the purpose of proper and transparent disbursement of Government services to all the eligible citizens of the state. Here elaborated are the concerned developments.
And now, the registration process for Grama Volunteer or village volunteer is already closed while one can apply for the Ward Volunteer positions only.
Selection Process Of Volunteers
The selection of the above positions is done through the interviews, which will be conducted by the selection committees from July 11 to 25. The appointment letters to the selected candidates will be handed over by August 01.
Marks Distribution And Qualifying Marks
The interview will be conducted for 100 marks and below here is the distribution of interview marks.
20 marks will be given if the candidate belong to the concerned ward of village.
20 marks for awareness in Govt. projects and social welfare programmes.
20 marks for previous experience as social activists, social representatives and voluntary activists
20 marks for leadership qualities, general awareness and good communication skills.
20 marks for merit showed in educational career
The qualifying marks for OC, BC candidates is 40 percent and it is 35 percent for SC, ST reserved categories.
Another important development is that the minimum educational qualification to apply for the Ward Volunteer position in the state is lowered to intermediate, which gives rise to the hopes of lakhs of unemployed youth.
