Forbes India Celebrity 100 List 2018: Salman Khan Tops For Third Consecutive Year And Deepika First Woman To Enter Top 5
As we have told earlier in one of the articles, 2018 is a period for bringing out the historical facts of Independence India revealing the hidden aspects as far as the defence department is concerned. Films like Aiyaary, Raid, Parmanu, Paltan, etc., got released unveiling the true incidents that took place in India.
And now, yet another film titled URI: The Surgical Strikes based on the surgical strikes held by the Indian Army across the Line of Control on September 29, 2016 is going to hit the screens. The attacks were held as a token of revenge on Pakistani army for their backstabbing mentality who went on to kill unarmed Indian soldiers. The film is all set to hit the screens on January 11, 2019.
Meanwhile, the makers have unveiled the trailer of the film, which opens up with the Vicky Kaushal arguing with the Army major in taking a decision to wage a war against the opponent army. The powerhouse actor has once again outshone his calibre by proving his acting prowess and few actions scenes and interrogation scenes have made the trailer a worthy watch.
Yami Goutham and Paresh Rawal as the crew of the army have done their part well. Overall, the trailer gives the glimpses of the planning of the Uri attack.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film is produced by Ronnie Screwvala, while music is scored by Shahswat Sachdev.
