Teaser of the Hollywood film, the remake to 1994 The Lion King got unveiled. Written by Jeff Nathanson, the flick is helmed by Jon Favreau, the director of The Jungle Book.
The one-minute short teaser opens up with a wide angle view of Pride Lands where the glimpses of a large number of animals can be witnessed with Simba (young lion) the main character of the film is seen roaring on the top of a hill.
The flick has high profile actors lending their voices to the animals, which includes Donald Glover as Simba, Beyoncé as Nala and James Earl Jones reprising his role as Mufasa.
Produced by Walt Disney Pictures, the film has music by Hans Zimmer while Elton John who scored the tunes for the earlier film is returning back to rework on some of his original compositions.
The flick is slated for July 19, 2019 release.
