Today we all are talking about director Shankar's recently released film 2.0, which is a sequel to the 2010 Robo. The flick is creating ripples at the box office, thanks to Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar tremendous screen presence.
No doubt Shankar is one of the creative directors, who introduced the latest technology to the Indian cinema. But even before that Tollywood had introduced the usage of Robots 34 years ago in the film Dongalu Baaboi Dongalu, which was released on December 6, 1984.
Veteran actor 'Superstar' Ghattamaneni Krishna, one of the stalwarts of Tollywood brought the recognition to the Telugu film industry by introducing new technology. He also introduced Cowboy style movies, James Bond films, Eastman colour picture, Cinemascope picture, etc.
Such is the power of the Telugu Film Industry, which is far ahead of the many other film industries and we EeYuva commend the works of the veteran legendary actors who laid the foundation to make Tollywood stand top.
Superstar Krishna is also known for his portrayals in a few spy films, of which Gudachari 116 is one of the classics of his career, which helped him garner the 'superstar' status.
